Culver Randel House and Mill

The Culver Randel House features a two-story frame structure with a hipped roof, three-sided porch, and clapboard siding on a rubblestone foundation.

Built around 1830, the mill operated continuously through different productions, including wood, wool, flour, and later specialized in manufacturing pianos until 1870.

The interior displays marble fireplaces, plaster cornices, wooden architraves, and upstairs bedrooms decorated with lyre motif moldings representing 19th-century craftsmanship.

The property contains two separate structures: the main house in Goshen and the four-story mill building situated closer to the highway in Florida.

Mark Pilipski leads restoration projects including new stone steps, an enclosed garden, and plans for installing a traditional oak waterwheel.
