Brewer Cove Haven Marina, marina in Rhode Island, United States
Brewer Cove Haven Marina is a boat harbor in Barrington, Rhode Island, at the head of Bullock Cove near Narragansett Bay. The facility holds up to 220 boats in water slips, land storage, and modern docks equipped with electricity and water connections.
The facility was established in 1961 and became part of Jack Brewer's chain of twenty-one marinas in 1967. It developed expertise in maintaining high-performance racing yachts, most notably when the yacht Intrepid was rebuilt there in 1997.
The name reflects Jack Brewer, who took over the marina in 1967 and expanded it into a full-service facility. The place shows how sailors and boat owners return year after year, building friendships and a sense of community around their shared love of the water.
The marina is about 20 miles from T. F. Green Airport in Providence with roughly half an hour of drive time. The facility includes fuel docks, updated showers, a swimming pool, and free Wi-Fi, with peak season from July through August requiring early booking.
The harbor is known for expertise in rebuilding 12-meter yachts used in America's Cup sailing races. This specialized skill in maintaining and repairing high-performance racing sailboats sets it apart from typical coastal boat harbors.
