Carillon Tower, Office skyscraper in Charlotte, United States.
Carillon Tower is a 24-story office building standing 394 feet (120 meters) tall in downtown Charlotte. It features Italian Verona marble throughout and a central spire shaped like a bell tower at the top.
The building was completed in 1991 and replaced the former Hotel Charlotte that previously occupied this downtown site. This marked a shift in the area as a residential hotel gave way to modern office space.
The lobby houses rotating art exhibitions, including a suspended mobile by Jean Tinguely above an indoor fountain. This accessible installation brings culture into the everyday experience of those passing through the building.
The building offers fitness facilities and conference rooms available during business hours. A café on the ground level provides a convenient spot to take a break.
The entrance plaza on West Trade Street features a 30-foot tall colorful aluminum sculpture called The Garden by artist Jerry Peart. This striking public artwork immediately catches the eye when approaching the building.
