Zvezdara

Zvezdara is a municipality in eastern Belgrade spread across rolling hills with mixed residential areas and green spaces. The district blends older neighborhoods with newer developments and serves as a living area for thousands of people within the city's eastern zone.

The area grew from farmland in the 17th century into a modern urban district during the 20th century. The establishment of an astronomical observatory in the 1930s became a catalyst for the neighborhood's residential expansion and development.

The Zvezdara Forest spans 137 hectares within the municipality, providing inhabitants with natural spaces for recreation, exercise, and outdoor activities throughout the year.

The neighborhood connects easily to central Belgrade through various routes and offers numerous shops, restaurants, and services. Visitors can navigate the area simply by using public transportation and finding local amenities scattered throughout the district.

The Clinical Center Zvezdara, established in 1935, developed into a major medical complex due to the natural water resources available in the region.
