Kızılcahamam

Kızılcahamam extends across 1,623 square kilometers of mountainous terrain between central Anatolia and the Black Sea regions at 975 meters elevation.

The administrative district has developed from a small settlement into a thermal center, maintaining its position 70 kilometers north of Ankara along the Istanbul motorway.

The district incorporates 109 neighborhoods, each preserving local traditions while contributing to the social fabric of this Central Anatolian community.

Visitors can access mineral water springs and thermal facilities throughout the district, with numerous hotels offering therapeutic treatments and accommodation options.

The Soğuksu National Park within the district contains Pliocene fossil deposits and serves as a habitat for black vultures, recognized by a sculpture at town entrance.
