Naile Sultan Grove

Naile Sultan Grove is a protected wooded area between the neighborhoods of Ortaköy and Kuruçeşme in Istanbul. The land contains residential villas and manor houses spread across sloped terrain with hills to the west and more open ground at higher elevations.

The grove takes its name from Emine Naciye Sultan, daughter of Prince Süleyman Selim, who held the position of Grand Vizier in the Ottoman Empire. Over time, the land has housed various estates and residences that reflect the changing fortunes of this area.

The Enver Paşa Villa within the grove stands as an example of traditional Ottoman architectural design, preserved through careful restoration efforts.

Access is limited because the land is privately owned and cannot be freely entered. Most visitors can only view the area from outside or catch glimpses from nearby public spaces.

The property is home to ancient, history-laden trees such as stone pines, Calabrian pines, cypress, and redbud trees scattered across the grounds. These monumental plants form the green structure and shape the overall appearance of the entire property considerably.
