Leverett Circle Connector Bridge, Road bridge in Boston, United States

The Leverett Circle Connector Bridge stretches 1.7 miles over the Charles River, connecting Interstate 93 with Storrow Drive through two-directional traffic lanes.

The bridge opened on October 7, 1999, as part of the Central Artery/Tunnel Project, with construction costs reaching 22.27 million dollars.

The structure received recognition from the National Steel Bridge Alliance in 2001 for its engineering excellence and contribution to urban transportation.

Electronic toll collection systems operate on specific sections of the bridge, particularly when accessing the Tobin Bridge via the northbound US Route 1.

The steel box girder design makes this bridge the largest of its type in the United States, completed eight days ahead of schedule.
