Bulandshahr

Bulandshahr is a city between the Ganges and Yamuna rivers on raised terrain in western Uttar Pradesh. The settlement sits roughly 65 kilometers southeast of Delhi within the district of the same name.

Mahmud of Ghazna took control of the area in 1018, ending the rule of local rajas. The British incorporated the region into their Indian colony in 1805.

The Clock Tower in Raja Babu Park, constructed in 1837, represents a blend of Victorian architecture and local administrative importance in Bulandshahr.

The city offers banks, hospitals, and schools that cover basic services for residents and visitors. A stop here provides a chance to see local town life in this rural part of the state.

A Mikoyan MiG-27 fighter jet stands at the Veterans Air Force School as a military display piece. This aircraft was the first publicly shown example of its type in the state.
