Cheruvannur Grama Panchayat

Cheruvannur Grama Panchayat is a rural local governance body in Kozhikode district serving a population of approximately 20,000 residents across 15 electoral wards. The panchayat manages 14 educational institutions and several family welfare centers within its administrative area.

The administrative unit was established in 1934 and preserves traces of early human settlement including megalithic burial monuments and a cave near Moyiloth. These archaeological remnants show the area has been inhabited for a considerable time.

The panchayat functions through 15 ward constituencies with elected representatives who make decisions about community development and local matters.
