Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat

The Telangana State Secretariat is a government administrative complex housing multiple state departments and ministerial offices. The facility spans several floors with numerous rooms dedicated to different administrative functions and operations.

The current structure was built beginning in 2019 after demolishing the previous colonial-era administrative building. Its completion and opening in 2023 marked a major shift in the state's governance infrastructure.

The building honors social reformer B.R. Ambedkar through a prominent statue at its entrance, making his legacy visible to visitors. The Indo-Saracenic style with its domes reflects the architectural heritage valued in the region.

The building offers extensive parking facilities for visitors and staff. Entry points are designated, and it is advisable to check ahead about visitor policies before planning a visit.

The building was engineered with foundations designed to last 150 years. The combination of red sandstone cladding on the exterior base and beige sandstone on the central tower demonstrates careful material selection for durability.
