Laurent Pokou Stadium, Football stadium in San-Pédro, Ivory Coast
The Laurent Pokou Stadium extends across 23 hectares with a natural grass field measuring 105 meters by 68 meters and covered stands on both sides.
Construction of the stadium commenced in September 2018 and concluded in September 2023, with China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation managing the development process.
The stadium bears the name of Laurent N'dri Pokou, an Ivorian football player who scored 14 goals in the Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.
The stadium contains modern facilities including press rooms, locker rooms, VIP sections, and parking areas to accommodate 20,000 spectators during events.
The architectural design incorporates regional oil palm patterns, while the seating arrangement displays the colors of the Ivorian national flag.
