Disney's Hollywood Hotel, Hollywood-themed hotel of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort
Disney's Hollywood Hotel is an Art Deco-styled hotel located on Lantau Island in Hong Kong with approximately 600 rooms, some featuring designs inspired by Marvel comics or classic 1930s Disney films. The property includes restaurants, a shop, a pool, and well-maintained gardens with vintage cars and photo spots.
The hotel opened in September 2005 alongside Hong Kong Disneyland Park and was originally designed as a tribute to 1930s Hollywood with Art Deco styling. Following the pandemic, the property underwent major renovation and gained newly themed rooms drawing inspiration from Marvel, Pixar, and classic Disney Animation films.
The hotel takes its name and aesthetic from classic 1930s Hollywood, reflected in its Art Deco design and movie-set style throughout. Guests encounter film-related details everywhere, from vintage photographs and colorful character artwork to classic cars, creating the feeling of walking through a working film studio.
A shuttle bus departs every 10 to 15 minutes from early morning until late evening to the park entrance, about a 5 to 10 minute walk away. Walking is possible but less comfortable in poor weather. Plan to arrive 45 minutes to an hour before park opening to avoid long queues.
Unlike other Disneyland hotels, this property features Marvel-themed rooms where guests can see murals of superheroes like Iron Man, Captain Marvel, and Spider-Man, offering a rare blend of Marvel and Disney overnight experiences. A special detail is that Webby from DuckTales appears in a Disney hotel for the first time, peeking from behind a red curtain in the closet as if lurking backstage.
