Peng Chau Public Library

The Peng Chau Public Library occupies the ground floor of the Municipal Services Building at 6 Po Peng Street on Peng Chau island.

The library, established in March 2008, transitioned from the Dynix system to the Virtua automation system in 2009 to enhance its digital services.

This facility maintains collections of books, newspapers, and digital resources that support the educational needs of Peng Chau island residents.

The library operates Tuesday through Saturday from 09:30 to 17:30 with a lunch break, and Sundays from 10:00 to 13:00, remaining closed on Mondays.

The library provides a self-service book drop available from 08:00 to 23:00, extending access beyond regular operating hours for patron convenience.
