CPPCC Auditorium

The CPPCC Auditorium is an assembly hall in Beijing's Xicheng District featuring European architectural elements with gold emblems adorning its entrance. The building integrates conference spaces, entertainment areas, and dining facilities across multiple levels.

Construction began in 1954 under Premier Zhou Enlai's directive and was completed in 1956 as one of early China's major structures. The building underwent complete renovation later in 1995 to restore and update its facilities.

The venue functions as the primary meeting place for the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and hosts major national political gatherings. Visitors can sense the ceremonial significance this place holds in China's political life.

The auditorium sits on Taipingqiao Street in central Beijing and accommodates around 350 people in its main hall. The venue is open to the public and welcomes visitors during standard operating hours.

The auditorium features its own cultural plaza spanning about 5700 square meters that links conference rooms, entertainment spaces, and dining areas seamlessly. This integrated layout allows visitors to move between different functions without leaving the complex.
