Yanqing Temple

Yanqing Temple is a Buddhist temple in Wutai County situated in the western part of the region away from the main settlements. The main hall features three sections with a roof structure supported across multiple rows of timber framing, creating a spacious interior.

The temple was founded in 1115 during the Jin dynasty, when Buddhist establishments were being built throughout the region. This construction period marked an expansion of religious architecture in the area.
