Castle Peak Beach stretches along 2.97 hectares of coastline with a dedicated swimming zone of 0.8 hectares protected by shark nets.
Initially named Yung Lung Beach, this location closed in 1981 due to water quality concerns and reopened in 2005 after extensive improvements.
The beach serves as a gathering point for local families who participate in traditional barbecue activities at the 27 designated cooking stations.
Lifeguard services operate from April through October, with extended hours during weekends and public holidays from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
The beach provides specialized accessibility features including tactile guide paths and braille directory maps for visitors with different needs.
