Filial Park, Columbarium in Tuen Mun District, Hong Kong.

Filial Park is a columbarium situated on a hillside in Tuen Mun District that combines traditional Chinese architectural design with garden spaces. The facility provides niches for cremated remains and conducts regular incense ceremonies for visitors.

Yan Chai Hospital received a donated plot in Tsing Shan Chuen in 1998 and decided to build a columbarium there; the Town Planning Board approved the plan in February 2000. In 2001 the hospital signed a cooperation agreement with Fung Ying Seen Koon, and in 2006 the Tuen Mun District Lands Office granted a 30,000 sq ft land exchange with a 50-year lease. The columbarium opened on 24 March 2013.

The name Filial Park refers to filial piety, and the columbarium was built by Yan Chai Hospital with the Taoist temple Fung Ying Seen Koon. Its third-floor main hall honours Lü Dongbin, Taishang Laojun and Qiu Changchun, and the building carries ridge dragons, eave beast heads and a fish-dragon ridge ornament. Families can arrange ancestral tablets, porcelain portraits of the deceased and paper offerings.

The site is situated on a hillside, so comfortable walking shoes are advisable for navigating the grounds. The facility conducts incense ceremonies at set times twice daily, so it is worth checking these in advance.

The three upper floors hold family niches, while the third-floor main hall honours Lü Dongbin, Taishang Laojun and Qiu Chuji, with ridge dragons, eave beast heads and a fish-dragon swallowing the ridge among the Taoist details. The first 1,176 niches opened for application in December 2012.
