Tuen Mun Park

Tuen Mun Park is a spacious urban green space situated between the Tuen Mun River and the town center, offering a range of recreational facilities. Visitors can find badminton and volleyball courts, a roller skating rink, a model boat pool, and a reptile house with indoor and outdoor displays.

The site originated from a land reclamation project in Castle Peak Bay during the 1970s and initially housed temporary settlements. The area was later transformed into a public recreational space for the growing community.

The amphitheater serves as a gathering place for neighborhood celebrations and community events throughout the year. The facilities bring together local residents who use them regularly for leisure and social activities.

The park has multiple entry points and is easy to navigate on foot, with clear signage directing visitors to different facilities. All areas remain accessible throughout the day, making it convenient for both short visits and longer stays.

The reptile house features around 30 different species displayed in both indoor terrariums and outdoor enclosures. This collection draws nature enthusiasts and school groups who want to learn about local wildlife in a managed setting.
