Cafeteria Old Beach, Beach area in Tuen Mun District, Hong Kong

Cafeteria Old Beach is a bathing beach on the Tuen Mun coast at the junction of Castle Peak Road's Castle Peak Bay section, near the 18¾-mile marker, and Ching Yee Road. It is one of five beaches in Castle Peak Bay, linked with Kadoorie Beach, Cafeteria New Beach and Golden Beach along a single shoreline that forms one of Hong Kong's longest stretches of sand.

Cafeteria Old Beach was once privately owned and closed to the public before passing to the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. Heavy water pollution forced its closure from 1981; on 2 May 2001 the department announced the water had improved enough for swimming and reopened the beach. In January 2016 the department added a fence over 200 metres long at one end, blocking direct access; swimmers formed the Five Beaches Public Resource Concern Group and gathered over 100 signatures asking for its removal, without a reply on why it was built.

The beach's name comes from a cafeteria that once served visitors when it was privately owned. It is one of five beaches on the same Tuen Mun shoreline, alongside Kadoorie Beach, Cafeteria New Beach and Golden Beach, and in January 2016 the LCSD erected a fence about 200 metres long at one end, prompting swimmers to form the Five Beaches Public Resource Concern Group and collect over 100 signatures demanding its removal.

The beach lies where Castle Peak Road's Castle Peak Bay section meets Ching Yee Road, at the 18¾-mile marker, and a car park at the Ching Yee Road entrance serves swimmers. Changing rooms, showers, toilets, a fast-food kiosk, barbecue areas and a rest shelter are on site. The beach was closed from 1981 over water pollution and reopened on 2 May 2001.
