Tomb of Sennedjem, Ancient Egyptian tomb in Deir el-Medina, Egypt.
The burial chamber features walls covered with yellow ochre paintings depicting scenes of agricultural practices, religious rituals, and everyday activities.
Italian archaeologists discovered this intact tomb in 1886, containing 165 objects and over 20 burials belonging to members of Sennedjem's family.
The tomb contains representations of Egyptian deities such as Osiris, Anubis, and Horus, demonstrating the religious beliefs regarding death and afterlife.
The structure includes a narrow stairway leading to a small chamber and a burial chamber with a vaulted ceiling oriented toward the west.
Nine family members received coffins for their remains while additional relatives were placed directly on the chamber floor during burial ceremonies.
