TT5, Ancient Egyptian tomb in Deir el-Medina, Egypt
The TT5 tomb contains two burial chambers with detailed wall paintings depicting family members presenting offerings to various Egyptian deities and relatives.
Dating from the reign of Ramesses II between years 36 and 40, this tomb belonged to Neferabet, who served as Servant in the Place of Truth.
The interior walls display numerous scenes of family members paying respects to deities such as Hathor, Re-Harakhti, and Anubis through ceremonial offerings.
The tomb structure includes a small courtyard leading to a vaulted chapel topped by a pyramid, with a shaft connecting to two burial chambers.
Archaeological evidence reveals later Coptic occupation of the tomb, indicated by fire marks that affected some of the original painted decorations.
