Deir el-Bahari, Archaeological site in Luxor, Egypt.

The mortuary temple at Deir el-Bahari features three ascending terraces connected by ramps and flanked by parallel rows of limestone columns.

Queen Hatshepsut ordered the construction of her mortuary temple around 1490 BCE, which became the most prominent structure within the complex.

The temple walls display detailed relief carvings that narrate the story of a trading expedition to the Land of Punt, revealing ancient commercial relations.

The archaeological site opens daily from 6 AM to 5 PM, with tickets available at the main entrance near the parking area.

A cache discovered at Deir el-Bahari in 1881 contained forty royal mummies, including those of Ramesses II and Thutmose III.
