Tropical Beach, Urban beach in Ginowan Seaside Park, Japan
The shallow waters of Tropical Beach stretch along the coastline next to the Okinawa Convention Center, providing an accessible swimming area for visitors.
Following its inauguration on May 17, 1993, Tropical Beach has served as a central recreational space for the residents of Ginowan City.
The beach functions as a community gathering point where local residents and tourists come together for barbecues and outdoor activities throughout the year.
The facility maintains operating hours from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM between April and October, with adjusted hours from 7:00 AM during November to March.
The beach features a dedicated soccer ground and can accommodate up to 15,000 people, making it suitable for large-scale seaside events.
