Kitakyushu Media Dome, Indoor music venue in Kokura North, Japan
The Kitakyushu Media Dome features a circular design with a bicycle helmet-shaped roof and an arena space of 5000 square meters.
The facility opened in October 1900 with a bicycle racing track and a multipurpose arena, designed to accommodate up to 20,000 spectators.
The venue regularly hosts major music concerts and the annual Aniuta KITAKYUSHU event, which brings together performers of anime songs.
The arena remains accessible via the Kitakyushu Monorail Kokura Line, with a 7-minute walk from Kawaruguchi-Mihagino Station.
The dome incorporates a professional bicycle racing track that encircles the main arena, which maintains concert hall quality acoustics with 3.6-second reverberation.
