The center, which opened on August 11, 2003, has established itself as a recognized member of the prestigious 100 concert halls in Japan collection.

The venue regularly hosts international performances, including partnerships with the Japanese Butoh dance company Sankai Juku, presenting contemporary artistic expressions.
