Nara Prefecture Complex of Man'yo Culture

The museum contains exhibits of Japanese poetry, traditional paintings, and artifacts related to the Man'yoshu anthology from the eighth century.

The museum, which opened in September 2001, preserves and displays manuscripts and cultural objects from the Asuka and Nara periods of Japanese history.

The Complex houses collections of waka poetry, traditional Japanese artwork, and provides workshops focused on classical literature and artistic traditions.

Visitors can reach the museum by taking the Asuka Shuyu Bus from Kintetsu Kashihara Jingumae Station to the Manyo Bunkakan Nishiguchi stop.

Foreign passport holders receive free admission to explore the extensive collection of Man'yoshu poetry and related cultural exhibits.
