Toriidaira Yamabiko Park

Toriidaira Yamabiko Park is a nature park sitting on a hilltop around 1000 meters high in Okaya. From this location, you can see Lake Suwa stretching below and the distant ridges of the Japanese Alps on the horizon.

The park was established in 1983 as a recreational area for the Okaya community. Since its creation, it has grown into a popular destination for locals and visitors from surrounding areas.

The park earned recognition as one of the 100 Best Urban Parks in Japan, reflecting its role in Japanese urban green space design.

The park is open to visitors daily, and parking is available on the grounds. The walking paths are well-marked and easy to follow, making navigation simple for guests of all levels.
