Ścieżka w koronach drzew

The Ścieżka w koronach drzew is an elevated wooden pathway through the forest near Antoninek that lets visitors walk among the treetops. The structure winds through different heights and offers views into the canopy from platforms and open sections.

The pathway was built in 2020 and was the second of its kind in Poland at that time. Its creation followed a growing trend from mountain regions in Central Europe where such elevated paths had already become established.

The walkway allows visitors to experience the forest from above without disturbing the ground or wildlife below. This approach reflects how people can enjoy nature while keeping ecosystems intact.

The pathway is best accessed from the New Zoo parking area or via Czekalskie Street. Benches and covered sections along the route provide rest spots and shelter from rain during your walk.

The pathway includes observation points where visitors often spot birds such as woodpeckers, jays, and golden orioles at eye level. These creatures move freely through the canopy above and around the walkway, making for close encounters.
