The Maritime Experiential Museum

The Maritime Experiential Museum displays over 400 artifacts including ancient maps, navigational instruments, and maritime trade items from Southeast Asia.

Established in 2011, the museum emerged as part of Singapore's initiative to strengthen its position as a major maritime hub in Southeast Asia.

The museum recreates traditional marketplaces from multiple Asian countries, featuring authentic items that represent maritime commerce through centuries.

Located at 8 Sentosa Gateway, the museum opens daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM with special ticket packages available for combined visits to S.E.A. Aquarium.

The Typhoon Theatre simulator allows visitors to experience the conditions of a Chinese trading vessel navigating through a severe ocean storm.
