Robinson 77, Commercial skyscraper in Downtown Core, Singapore.
Robinson 77 is a 35-floor office tower located in Singapore's Downtown Core financial district. Its exterior is entirely covered in glass panels, giving the building a smooth, reflective surface on all sides.
The building opened in 1998 and initially served as the headquarters of Singapore Airlines. In 2006, the airline sold it to SEB Investment, after which it became a general office building open to multiple tenants.
The building stands at the corner of Robinson Road and Cecil Street, two streets that form part of Singapore's financial core. Walking past it, you notice how the mirrored glass surface picks up and reflects the surrounding buildings.
The building is easy to reach on foot from three nearby MRT stations, making it a convenient stop in the city center. For those arriving by car, basement parking is available on site.
The roof of the tower is shaped like the vertical tail fin of an airplane, a detail that recalls its original purpose as an airline headquarters. This feature is hard to spot from street level but is often noted by those interested in architecture.
