New Adana Stadium, Football stadium in Sarıçam, Adana, Turkey
The New Adana Stadium is a football venue in Sarıçam, Adana, with a seating capacity of 33,543 and a hybrid grass playing surface. The field is not surrounded by an athletic track, allowing the design to focus entirely on football matches.
Construction started in 2014 with an original completion target of 2016. The stadium finally opened on February 19, 2021, following various delays in the building process.
The venue is home to two local football clubs: Adanaspor from the 1. Lig and Adana Demirspor from the Süper Lig. Both teams use the grounds regularly for home matches and draw supporters from across the region.
The stadium sits on Hacı Sabancı Bulvarı, roughly 10 kilometers north of Adana's city center. Plan to arrive by car or public transport to reach match events comfortably.
The roof extends beyond the spectator stands with perforated mesh cladding, creating a distinctive visual feature. The design was developed by DB Architects and required significant investment to complete.
