Oylat Cave

Oylat Cave is a limestone show cave near Hamiliye featuring interconnected passages that extend through multiple levels of the mountain. The interior displays numerous mineral formations where water has slowly built deposits on floor and ceiling over millennia.

This cave formed over millions of years as water dissolved the limestone along underground fault lines and carved out passages. The entire underground system developed through continuous water flow that gradually enlarged the natural openings.

The cave is integrated into a thermal spa facility where visitors seek treatments for breathing issues using the humid environment. The setting brings together wellness practices with the natural structure of the limestone formation.

Visitors walk on a paved path with metal railings that climbs and descends through the different chamber levels during exploration. The experience requires moderate walking effort over about 90 minutes with uneven ground and some inclines to navigate.

A natural stream flows through the cave from outside, creating small terraces of white mineral deposits where water pools. These formations reveal visible records of how water levels have changed through the ages, left behind as calcium buildup.
