Cianjhen District

Cianjhen District is an administrative area in Kaohsiung organized into 59 villages with dense residential neighborhoods. The zone is served by metro stations including Caoya and Kaisyuan, with Provincial Highway 17 providing road connections across the region.

The district experienced major change in 2014 when gas explosions caused widespread infrastructure damage across the area. These events prompted comprehensive safety upgrades and reconstruction efforts that reshaped local infrastructure.
