Tidal Wave, Top Spin ride at Flamingo Land, United Kingdom
The steel ride contained two rotating arms with an attached passenger gondola that moved independently through various positions during operation at Flamingo Land Theme Park.
Manufactured by Vekoma and initially named Waikiki Wave, the ride operated from 1993 until 2008 at the North Yorkshire entertainment venue.
This attraction formed part of the thrill rides collection at Flamingo Land alongside other notable roller coasters such as Kumali and Velocity.
The ride accommodated 48 passengers per cycle and received replacement by Mumbo Jumbo after its closure in 2008.
The ride mechanism allowed each arm to rotate independently without performing complete inversions, creating different motion patterns for passengers.
