Logger's Leap, Log flume ride in Thorpe Park, England
Logger's Leap is a log flume ride at Thorpe Park that stretches across 480 meters of track. The ride takes visitors in wooden log-shaped boats through several twists and two drops in the Canada Creek section of the park.
The attraction opened in 1989 and held the record as the highest log flume ride in the United Kingdom until 2015. It remained a landmark feature of the park throughout this period.
Princess Diana and her sons William and Harry visited the attraction in 1993, leading to the installation of a commemorative plaque.
The ride is suitable for families with children who meet the minimum height requirement, and all passengers travel in secure boats. Be prepared to get wet during the two drops.
The ride played a western-themed soundtrack featuring songs by Dolly Parton and Steps through speakers along the water course. This musical element added to the overall wild-west atmosphere of the experience.
