Hawk Springs State Recreation Area

Hawk Springs State Recreation Area sits on the western shore of Hawk Springs Reservoir, offering water activities and overnight camping. The park spans 59 acres and includes areas for boating, swimming, and tent camping with basic facilities.

Wyoming State Parks Division created this recreation area in 1987 to provide public access to the southeastern shore. The park was developed to offer recreational opportunities along this part of the state's border.
