Pearl S. Buck Birthplace, Literary birthplace museum in Hillsboro, West Virginia, United States.

The Pearl S. Buck Birthplace is a three-story residence built in the 1800s with original furnishings and objects from the author's life on display throughout. The rooms show the household as it existed then, filled with personal items and written records from her early years.

The house was built in 1875 and served as the birthplace of one of the 20th century's most influential writers. The property gained official recognition in 1970 when it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

The house is named after the Nobel Prize-winning author who spent her childhood here and later touched millions through her writing. The rooms reveal how the author's family lived in the West Virginia hills and what shaped their worldview.

The museum offers guided tours through twelve rooms where you can see original furnishings, photographs, and letters. It helps to allow time to read the descriptions alongside the displayed items to understand the stories behind them.

On the grounds stands the restored Stulting Barn, which displays old farm tools from the late 1800s. This outbuilding offers a window into rural farming practices of the Appalachian region that shaped the author's early years.
