Susan B. Anthony Childhood House, Historic house in Battenville, New York, United States.

The Susan B. Anthony Childhood House stands on a hillside along Route 29, featuring Federal and Greek Revival architectural elements over an ashlar foundation.

Built in 1832 by Daniel Anthony, this residence served as home to young Susan from ages 13 to 19, during which she experienced early encounters with social inequality.

The house represents a period when Susan B. Anthony developed her initial understanding of gender discrimination after being denied access to advanced mathematics education.

The New York State Department of Parks manages this one-acre property, which includes the main house, a retaining wall, and a preserved carriage barn.

The foundation and walls incorporate local stone materials, with late Victorian decorative elements added during an 1885 renovation phase.
