The venue operated from 2001 to 2004 and was initially located on the top floor of 10 Jay Street. It later moved to the lower floor due to rent requirements.
The place was shaped by artists who mixed musical performances with visual installations and live art, encouraging visitors to dress in creative costumes. The energy reflected an experimental spirit focused on blending different forms of expression.
During weekdays, an electronics refurbishing company used the space, but fire performers could train there in the evenings without charge. This dual-use setup made the space less accessible to visitors during business hours but created room for artistic training after work.
The venue hosted one of Run DMC's final performances before Jam Master Jay's death. This historic show took place during a period when the space dealt with fire code issues that caused brief closures.
