Deep Cut Gardens

Deep Cut Gardens spans 54 acres with landscaped sections, greenhouses, and walking paths containing numerous plant varieties and seasonal flower displays throughout the grounds.

Mobster Vito Genovese acquired this estate in 1935, transforming the landscape to include Italian-style rock gardens and constructing a small Mount Vesuvius replica.

The gardens function as an educational center where visitors learn about regional plant life, gardening techniques, and participate in horticultural programs throughout the year.

Visitors can access the gardens free of charge from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM daily, with amenities including public restrooms and designated picnic areas.

The garden features a seed exchange station where community members can take and leave seeds, plus garden safari backpacks containing exploration tools for families.
