鳥居原ふれあいの館, Combined facility in Midori-ku, Japan
The Toriiharahu Fureai Building is located near Lake Miyagase and offers direct views of the Rainbow Bridge and Tanzawa Mountains through its large windows. The structure serves as a meeting point between local farmers and visitors, with exhibition spaces and information areas.
The facility was established in 1999 as an agricultural exchange center connecting local farmers with visitors in the Sagamihara region. It grew from the need to strengthen links between rural communities and urban visitors.
The facility displays rotating exhibitions of local handicrafts, particularly Tsukui braided cords and seasonal farm products from the surrounding area. Visitors can see and learn about traditional production methods and the agricultural heritage of the region.
The building is open daily except Tuesdays, with a free shuttle bus service connecting seven locations during weekends and public holidays. Plan your visit time to make the best use of the available transportation options.
The facility offers six boat tours on Lake Miyagase daily, giving visitors a different perspective of the surrounding landscape from the water. These water-based experiences are among the main activities and provide a unique way to explore the natural environment.
