Super Nintendo World

Super Nintendo World is a theme park at Universal Studios Hollywood that spans multiple levels and recreates different areas from the Super Mario universe. The areas feature iconic elements like green pipes, floating blocks, and replicas of famous castles.

The park opened on February 17, 2023 as a new section of Universal Studios Hollywood. The project was built on the site of a former attraction and marks Universal's first major investment in a Nintendo experience.

The park brings gaming characters and worlds to life with a focus on the Super Mario Bros universe. Visitors encounter familiar figures like Mario and Luigi throughout the space and can interact with them directly.

Visitors can purchase a Power-Up Band wristband that allows them to collect digital coins and participate in challenges throughout their visit. The wristband tracks scores and turns exploring the park into a playful experience.

The Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge ride combines augmented reality technology with physical track elements for an immersive racing experience. This combination lets visitors interact with the race course in unexpected ways.
