Mirante da Janela, Scenic viewpoint in Alto Paraíso de Goiás, Brazil

Mirante da Janela rises above Chapada dos Veadeiros, providing views of valleys, rock formations, and natural landscapes across the Brazilian highlands.

The viewpoint emerged as a destination after the establishment of Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park, which gained UNESCO World Heritage status in 2001.

The observation point serves as a meeting place for nature photographers, researchers, and outdoor enthusiasts who document the regional biodiversity.

Visitors need to complete a 4-kilometer trail from Museu do Garimpo to reach the viewpoint, with entrance fees payable only in cash or through Pix.

During the rainy season from October to April, observers can witness the active waterfall at Cachoeira do Abismo along the hiking path.
