The Jameel Arts Centre occupies a three-story building along Jaddaf Waterfront, featuring multiple gallery spaces, a research library, rooftop terrace, writer's studio, restaurant, and shop designed to support contemporary art exhibitions and public engagement.

The centre opened to the public on November 11, 2018, founded by Art Jameel, and drew more than 10,000 visitors during its inaugural week, establishing itself as a pioneering institution dedicated to contemporary art in Dubai.

The centre hosts solo and group exhibitions featuring artists from the Middle East and internationally, alongside educational programs, talks, and workshops designed to foster dialogue about contemporary art practices and regional cultural movements.

The centre is open daily except Tuesdays with free admission, requiring visitors to book a two-hour time slot in advance, and maintains health protocols including face mask requirements and temperature checks at entry.

The centre includes an open-access research library focused on Arab artists and Gulf cultural movements, along with rooftop gardens designed by landscape architect Anouk Vogel that integrate outdoor art installations into the overall visitor experience.
