Kun Iam Statue Waterfront Park Leisure Area, Public leisure park near NAPE district, Macau.

The 15,000-square-meter waterfront park contains a 400-meter walking trail, sports courts, and a roller-skating rink along the Pearl River Delta.

The park opened in April 2021 after a year of construction, transforming an empty area near the Kun Iam Statue into a recreational space.

The park derives its name from the adjacent Kun Iam Statue, representing the Buddhist goddess of compassion, mercy, and kindness in Chinese tradition.

Visitors can access multiple facilities including lockers, vending machines, restrooms, and a 2,700-square-meter playground with European safety standards equipment.

The park features specialized gateball courts and multifunctional sports areas that accommodate basketball, football, and volleyball activities.

The most beautiful spots to photograph in Macau

Macau captivates with its contrasts. In a single day, you can go from a Portuguese quarter with cobblestone streets to a hidden temple behind a staircase, and then to a futuristic hotel lit up like a film set. The city combines baroque facades, grand casinos, and quiet gardens where a few tai chi practitioners are seen. Between Coloane and Cotai, each district offers a different vibe that attracts travelers looking for striking photos and unique urban scenes. This selection features the most photogenic sites in Macau, from colonial heritage to coastal views.
