Description
Sea Life Val d'Europe is an aquarium with about 50 tanks where sharks, rays, seahorses, and tropical fish live and swim. The different sections showcase marine habitats ranging from coastal areas to deep ocean environments.
History
The aquarium opened in the early 2000s as part of the Val d'Europe shopping complex near Disneyland Paris. It was created to bring a marine education experience to the region's many visitors.
Culture
The facility conducts regular educational programs about marine biology and organizes presentations every thirty minutes throughout operating hours.
Practical
Plan for at least two hours to explore the different tanks and displays at your own pace. The facility is wheelchair accessible, and baby changing facilities are available for families with young children.
