North Clackamas Aquatic Park
North Clackamas Aquatic Park is a large water facility in Clackamas County with six different pools serving various purposes. It features a wave pool, three water slides, a dive well, lap lanes, an adults-only hot tub, an indoor climbing wall, and outdoor areas with a volleyball court and sun deck.
The facility opened in 1994 as a project of the local recreation district. Its creation was supported by community bonds and funding, reflecting strong local demand for a public aquatic recreational space in the region.
The park's name refers to the North Clackamas region in the Willamette Valley area. It serves as a gathering place where families and neighbors meet to spend time together in the water and enjoy shared recreational experiences.
The park is located on SE Harmony Road in Milwaukie near 82nd Avenue, making it easy to reach by car. Visitors should bring swimwear and a towel, with lockers available on-site for safely storing personal items.
The wave pool is the only one of its kind in the Portland area, creating steady rolling waves where visitors can float on tubes and enjoy the motion. This wave-generating technology sets the experience apart from typical swimming pool visits.
