Jardin Botanique de Bingerville, Botanical garden in Bingerville, Ivory Coast.
The garden extends over 57 hectares featuring palm groves, bamboo tunnels, and numerous native plant species from the Ivory Coast region.
The botanical garden was established in 1904 under Governor Angoulvant's direction and received historical monument status through a decree in 1991.
Different sections of the garden carry names of political figures, including spaces dedicated to Henri Konan Bedie and various ambassadors.
The garden welcomes visitors every day from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with guide services available upon request one hour before the intended visit.
Century-old cheese trees provide shade for a refreshment stand where visitors can take breaks during their exploration of the grounds.
