Pantai Cihara

Pantai Cihara is a beach in Lebak with sections of white sand that alternate with natural rock formations. These rocks create sheltered pools where the water stays calm at low tide.

The beach became known as a destination after local authorities built connections through Rangkasbitung and Gunung Kencana to reach it from the interior. These routes gradually brought visitors to this remote coastal area.

Fishing boats bring their daily catch to shore, and small stalls along the beach grill fish using traditional local recipes. Visitors can watch how these traditional cooking methods remain part of everyday coastal life here.

A vehicle ticket is required for access, with separate fees for motorcycles and cars. The beach is best explored at low tide when the rock pools become fully visible and accessible to visitors.

Natural pools form where coral structures break the force of ocean waves, creating safe swimming areas during low tide. This geological feature makes this beach stand out from other coastal spots in the region.
