Plage Naturiste de La Batterie, Naturist sand beach in Vallauris, France.
Plage Naturiste de La Batterie is a naturist sand beach with three separate coves along the shoreline. The sections vary in size and are accessible by stairs, creating different levels of privacy for visitors.
The beach became the only authorized naturist location in the Cannes region in 2009 following changes to local regulations. This designation has remained in place since those policy decisions were made.
The beach is used by both local residents and visitors who embrace naturist values and respect each other. The Horizon Club oversees standards of conduct to ensure everyone feels welcome.
Access is through a tunnel near a gas station, making orientation straightforward once you find the entrance. Parking is limited, so arriving early or using street parking along Avenue Marechal Juin is advisable.
Each of the three coves attracts different types of visitors and offers its own atmosphere. The least crowded third section is actually the easiest to reach thanks to built-in stairs.
